Triumph Herald 1966 for sale
Current customer rating:
Has had in the past year new front callipers, discs and pads, new stainless steel exhaust, new carpet, new tachometer, new alternator and belt upgrade, new battery, new rear seat belts, new made to order roof fabric, new tyres, new Triumph car cover.
Previous to that, the car recently had:
New hoses, cylinders, suspension shocks, all new polymer bushes.
New Engine big-end bearings, new clutch.
New Prop and driveshafts union joints.
New distributor, HT leads, coil and spark plugs.
Banded steel wheels.
Pretty much all the mechanical and electrical items have been gone through and replaced with new, so the car drives brilliantly.
The bodywork is good, a few blemishes and bubbles in the paint but nothing serious and generally looks good, in its original Triumph racing green which polishes up really well. Underneath and chassis are solid and undersealed. Reluctant sale, any inspection welcome. Last MOT a few years ago, although less than 1000 miles since and obviously now exempt. Rare early chrome bumpers, open to offers
The car has today (13/8/21) been for a final service and tune up by a specialist so it is running very sweetly, ready for the new owner. The carburettor has been adjusted and set up, timing checked and set, new spark plugs fitted, and new petrol pump gaskets fitted.
