This is a genuine 1966 Sunbeam Tiger that is very well known to the Tiger community. It has been owned, prepared and successfully raced both here and in Europe for 20 years by the current owner. Whilst the car is a fully prepared race car it has always remained road legal for the odd exciting road trip now and then. The car is on the button and ready to go. Could easily be put back to a road only car. Below are the basic details of the car and more detail can be discussed with the owner. The car can be viewed at the preparation centre near Birmingham.

Race/Road car (Fully race prepared, but road legal)

Engine

Ford 302 ci with toughrided crank, I-beam rods, Keith Black pistons, Edelbrock RPM kit (Heads/Inlet manifold/Camshaft). High volume oil pump with baffled & enlarged sump. Holley 600 CFM and K&N Airfilter.

Gearbox

Standard 4 speed top loader with Hurst shifter, linked to an uprated propshaft.

Axle

Salisbury LSD with 1 : 3.07 ratio

Suspension

Front – Uprated coil springs over koni double adjustable shock absorbers (by Andy Robinson). Uprated and adjustable anti roll bar. Quick rack linked to custom steering arms.

Rear – Leaf springs with anti-tramp bars, Watts linkage and adjustable koni shock absorbers.

Brakes

Front – Brembo 4 pot calipers and vented discs with carbotech pads.

Rear - Drums with Questmead double bake shoes.

Fuel System

20 Gallon baffled & foam filled tank with pick up sump. Holley blue top pump and fuel pressure regulator.

Ignition System

Mallory electronic distributor with rev limiter and shift light.
