Thank you for looking at my beautiful Alpine affectionately known to the family as Little Red

She's a multi show winning car and in my opinion is as good as they come

My car was previously owned by well renowned Alpine aficionado who acquired the car in 2006 as an unfinished restoration project

Little Red then underwent a comprehensive nut and bolt restoration

She is fitted with an updated 1725cc engine giving her a sprightly turn of speed and is also fitted with a Series 5 overdrive gearbox which means she can easily keep up with modern traffic

New stainless steel exhaust

New alternator replacing old dynamo

Immaculate wire wheels with well shod tyres

Series 3 seats having been totally re trimmed

Very rare 3 eared petrol cap

At the start of restoration It was noted the car had very straight sills and floor together with rust free wheel arches and wings

The panel gaps were almost perfect

In 2015 the restoration began with the body being readied for paint

The work was so fastidious made painstaking that the car was fully repainted in 2016

Windscreen and rubbers

All door and glass seals

Chrome door and boot hinges and handles

Chrome lettering

Full carpet set

Full interior re trim

Don hood

Boot carpet

Shock absorbers

Wiper arms and blades

Door locks and keys

Sill tread plates

Weber 32/36 carb

Air filter

Chassis plate

Crash pad

All fluids have been replaced inc engine and gearbox

Also rear axle, brake and clutch fluid oh and antifreeze!

After a shakedown road test the decision was taken to renew brake linings

The Speedo and tachometer were sent away to be refurbished and converted to electric

The car was finally completed in 2017 after having a new clutch and bearings replaced

Whilst the engine and gearbox were out the the engine ore plus were replaced and the whole engine treated to a repaint in black..... it's original colour

There are bills and invoices on file totalling thousands of pounds and 2 photograph albums documenting this meticulous restoration

She brings people over to chat everywhere you go

Drives very well and the smiles per mile when roof is down makes your cheeks ache!

My car is simply an immaculate example of the marque ready to be enjoyed by the next enthusiast
