1979 Rolls-Royce Corniche 5000 series FHC finished in Royal Blue with Magnolia hide interior. The 5000 series Corniche FHC was in production for less than 3 years and very few were produced, they benefited from the underpinnings of the new Silver Spirit with hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension, modified with Girling automatic hydraulic ride height control system and gas-charged shock absorbers. The braking was also updated to Silver Spirit specification using the new Mineral oil system. Importantly this particular example has also had the carburettor conversion to SU, a far more reliable system than the Solex original. CRH 50109 has covered just 65,000 miles from new and has a stamped service book to detail the maintenance which has always been carried out by specialists. We first serviced the car back in 1995 for and sold it in 2002. The owner passed away in 2005 and we sold the car again to one of our customers who kept the car until 2014. We purchased the car and have kept it in our own collection ever since. It is now time for this wonderful motor car to find a new owner. It is presented in stunning condition throughout and is a pleasure to drive.
