BMW E30 325i Sport Nut and Bolt restoration

Extensive rebuild nut and bolt restoration. With no cost spared, presented in Delphin Grey.

We bought this car a little over a year ago as a restoration project. The main thing that attracted us to this car was its rarity. Apparently there were a quoted 260 of this model ever built for the UK market, and there are not many left. Our goal was to bring this car back to its original condition as per the factory specification printout. Here's an overview of what has been done:
The car was completely stripped down to the bare bodyshell and taken back to metal, and anything that wasn't up to scratch was cut out and new sections welded in. This gave us a good base to restore the vehicle.
With the mileage being at 178, 000, the engine was completely disassembled and rebuilt with new crank bearings and piston rings etc. as well as all rubber seals along with new water pump and timing belt. The head has been skimmed, valves lapped, and new guides fitted. This engine is now as new. Those of you that have ever owned one of these will remember the unforgettable and distinctive roar of the famous BMW straight 6 cylinder engine.
As we were going all the way, we decided to send the limited slip diff off to a specialist where it went under a full overhaul including new clutches.
The gearbox was drained of its old oil and replaced along with a new clutch.
The braking has also been completely overhauled and new brake lines fitted throughout

The wiring loom has been fully stripped of its outer wrapping, which had gone crusty, soldered where necessary and re wrapped with cloth tape.
An original four head rests houndstooth Recaro was sourced (so hard to find) and professionally cleaned before fitting.
The BBS wheels have been dipped and powder coated and fitted with new Continental tyres.
The list of what we have done to this car goes on and on, but this car has been brought back to TOTALLY ORIGINAL CONDITION. Everything here is true to its spec and true to its year. We treated this rebuild as a museum piece. You will find no aftermarket gimmicks or later additions here. To say we have spent thousands on this restoration is an understatement.
