We are very pleased to offer a very well preserved and very rare Austin Mini 25. Launched in 1984 to celebrate 25 years of Mini production with unique features only fitted to this edition of Mini and they have always remained popular. Finished in metallic Silver leaf with contrasting grey and red side decals and matching velour trim they certainly do stand out from their peers of the era. This 25 has covered only 58k in 38 years with only four previous owners and has a fantastic provenance including its original bill of sale from W.J Wells in Essex, its original service book, Mini 25 handbook, every MOT from new and detailed service history folder. It also has the original 25 sales brochure and souvenir magazine from the 25 launch at Donnington race track.

On the road this 25 drives very well. The low mileage 998 engine is very smooth and pulls well through the gears. The gearbox is also taught and precise. Handling is pin sharp as it should be and it has four nearly new tyres. This 25 also benefits from disc brakes.

The unique 25 interior is very well preserved and very original. The flint grey velour seats are in good original condition complete with a 25 logo and I have too mention the these Minis were the only ones fitted with a storage compartment and the front of the drivers seat. It has matching velour door cards, deep pile grey carpets and a three clock binnacle with a 120 MPH speedo and rev counter. The steering wheel was also given special treatment and is finished in leather with a 25 logo, this Mini also has its original Austin push button radio. The looks were finished off with tinted glass. So as you can tell lots of effort went into producing these fantastic editions. It also still has its original dealer registration plates.

This Mini has a very solid shell with the correct vented sills, solid floors, boot floor and subframes. The paintwork is very well presented and gleams, this is not a restored example but it has been well maintained and cared for and wears its vintage well. We have fully serviced and checked this Mini and it has a long MOT so it is ready to make you smile.
