THIS CLUBMAN ESTATE HAS HAD A FULL RESTORATION BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER OVER A PERIOD OF SEVERAL YEARS. THE BODY WAS FULLY STRIPPED TO BARE METAL AND NEW PANELS FITTED WHERE REQUIRED THEN PROFESSIONALLY RESPRAYED. THE INTERIOR WAS ALL RE-DONE WITH AN ORIGINAL AUTOPLAS DASH INCORPORATING EXTRA INSTRUMENTS, NEW CARPETS AND DOOR TRIMS, BUCKET SEATS, ORIGINAL HEADLINER WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS AND A FULL ROLL CAGE.

EXTERNALLY HE FITTED THE CAR WITH 6 x 10 BLACK-POLISHED ORIGINAL MAMBA'S WITH NEW ROAD-RACE TYRES AND BLACK GRP 2 ARCHES. IN MY OWNERSHIP I HAVE SWOPPED THESE TO WOOD AND PICKET ARCHES AND 12" REVOLUTIONS, I'VE ALSO SWOPPED THE BUCKET SEATS FOR STANDARD PERIOD CLUBMAN ONES FOR EASIER DAILY USE BUT ALL THESE ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE WITH THE CAR - I'D JUST WANT A BIT EXTRA FOR THE WHEELS-TYRES.

THE UNDERSIDE IS AS CLEAN AS THE TOP WITH ALL SUSPENSION COMPONENTS REPLACED WITH UPRATED ADJUSTABLE ITEMS AS ARE THE BRAKES.

UNDER THE BONNET THE ENGINE WAS FULLY REBUILT USING THE CORRECT LOW COMPRESSION PISTONS SO NO DECOMPRESSION PLATE REQUIRED FOR THE SUPERCHARGER AND IT WAS DYNO'D AT 120 BHP BUT HAD A COUPLE OF MODS SINCE THEN SO PROBABLY A BIT MORE (engine info supplied by previous owner)

THIS CAR WOULD MAKE A GREAT LITTLE HILL CLIMB-SPRINT CAR THAT CAN BE USED DAILY IF REQUIRED BUT WITHIN AN HOUR (SWOPPING WHEELS, SEATS AND ADJUSTING SUSPENSION) BE AN ENTERTAINING AND UNUSUAL AMATEUR COMPETITION CAR.
