Offered here for sale is a 1967 Austin Mini 1000 Super De Luxe Mk2.

The car has a 998cc petrol engine and a 4 speed manual gearbox.

The car has covered a recorded 43,000 miles and is in lovely bright original condition throughout.

Finished in Maroon with a Black roof and a Sandy Beige leatherette interior.

The vehicle has had 4 previous owners, the last since April 2020 which is when the car returned from a period in Ireland.

Supplied with a Heritage certificate confirming the build dates and details, the car is in its original specification and colours. It was built on 04.10.1967 and delivered to Bridge Clock Motors in Coventry on 02.11.1967. The date of first registration is 01.01.1968.

The British Mini Club were able to offer the DVLA a verification of the car upon its return from Ireland and as such it was granted the original registration number of LRW 2F.

Although now MOT exempt the car did have a fresh MOT back in 2020 just 400 miles ago. There were no advisory notes. At the same time some maintenance work was carried out including attending to a fuel leak and track rod ends. More recently the car has had a service, new plugs, distributor and leads.

Supplied with the V5, a small amount of paperwork and the original handbook.

The interior is in very nice overall condition. All of the features and functions appear to work correctly. The replacement carpets are as new.

The wheels and tyres are in equally good condition.

The bodywork is very presentable. This is not a restored show winning car, rather a usable and great looking classic Mini. The car is very bright and clean but with minor age related marks and imperfections as to be reasonably expected. The car wants for nothing and could be used daily without issue. This is one to use and enjoy rather than a collectors item.

The car drives exceptionally well and can maintain pace with todays traffic. It starts on the button and performs really well.

The chance to purchase a really usable and nice early Mini at this price point is getting rarer. They will only go one way in price. This one is an especially nice find given its great colour scheme and 'Super de Luxe' specification.

All claims must be made prior to any repairs and unless otherwise agreed all repairs will be carried out by our regular workshop.

Delivery/collection to and from the workshop is the vehicle owners responsibility.

All commercial vehicles, all vehicles with in excess of 125,000 miles and all vehicles over 10 years old are excluded from any warranty.

Overseas buyers are responsible for all shipping and collection fees and payment will only be accepted in GBP.

If you view the vehicle and decide to go ahead with a purchase but are unable to take the vehicle immediatley then I will ask for a 10% holding deposit (with a minimum deposit of £250). The outstanding balance will be due upon collection.

Delivery; No delivery is offered without prior agreement. Delivery will be at additional cost.

Collection is from Horsham in West Sussex. Horsham is about 20 minutes south of Gatwick airport and I can collect you from Horsham mainline train station if it helps. This is approx. 1hr down the line from London Victoria.

Part Exchange; I will consider a part exchange if it helps you out with the purchase. Please send me the details of what you have and I will come back to you with a PX price which will stand subject to me seeing your vehicle.
