Vehicle Details
One of the most unique looking 1964 Austin Healey Sprites you'll see. It is running and a lot of fun to drive. Here are some of the specs of the car.
BMC-64 HAN 7 L 35915
Sprite MKII Manufactured toughly late summer/early fall 1963. First ‘64 was #37735
I believe it reads OCG-D-H 16886
10 CG -Da-H 16886 is almost certainly the original engine. Production date approximately Sept/October 1963.
SPECIFICATION:
1098 cc/small main crankshaft
High Compression and close ratio gearbox.
It's a minor step up from the 948. The 10 CC version, which went into the next iteration (HAN 8) had an improved head and a stronger crankshaft with 2” main journals. This was only used from Jan 64-Oct 66, when the 1275 cc engine was introduced
Bhp rose from 34 (948 cc) to 46, and a slight increase in torque
The interior is nice but not perfect. No rust in the trunk or floors. The tires and wheels are in great shape. I also have the top cover and side windows as well. I'll upload additional videos soon if your interested.
Please feel free to inspect or come drive the car. Or call or text me for additional pics
