Mercedes W 112. Genuine.
1964 Almost impossible to find 300 SE in coupe form.
This car is the top of the line model from Mercedes for the years 63 through to 67. Its level of superiority to people with the knowledge and understanding of the model far exceed that of it having its very own showroom. Its all aluminum M 189 engine is a work of art. An engine design carried forward from the all performing Gullwing model.
Superior in every way to the 220. 250. 280 and the 280 3. 5 models.
For those that may dissagree with the comparison to the 280 3. 5. i recommend owning and driving one of each to understand as i do the pleasure of the 300.
Alternatively talk to any Mercedes mechanic with 50 years or more experience and they will concur.

This car is an excellent candidate for a deservingly full ground up restoration.
The original engine. transmission and driveline are intact. Perfect for a thorough rebuild. The dash is missing some items that are attainable. However this super rare car is not to be missed.
Once complete. the car will drive superbly and command the attention of the discerning Mercedes benz public.
