Mini Cooper S Rare John Cooper Conversion

Reluctantly i am offering for sale my Mini Cooper S. this  Mini was bought as a 1275 cooper. then Taken to John Coopers Garages in Ferring Worthing where it underwent a big bore 1400cc engine conversion costing £4450. 00.

The engine was bored to 1380 cc. cosworth forged pistons. ent cam. nbsp;fully lightened and ballanced. metro turbo clutch. big valve head. Twin 1/2 SU Carbs. Titan roller rockers. Maniflow LCB and system. ect. ect. the list is endless and fully documented.

At the same time a 5 Speed Jack Knight Straight Cut box was fitted . costing a further £1200 pounds. The engine and gearbox has been rebuilt again recently buy Minispeed. and know incorporating a x pin diff. while at minispeed  a suspension transformation was fitted. hi lo kit. fully adjustable front arms and rear camber brackets courtesy of KAD. all set up correctly with paperwork ! Mini is now also fitted with KAD 4 pot alloy calipers and 7. 5" CooperS vented crossdrilled discs and minifins on the rear. thus allowing for the correct 10" Genuine Minilights. With Advan Semi Slick tyres and Group 2 Arches !

Bodywork is mint. underneath is mint. always garaged. roof has been painted and the bonnet has been painted British racing green to loose the white stripes ( like every other mini in the world)

Interior is Mint with a full re cover in leather full alloy John Cooper door sets. genuine Motolita Steering wheel signed buy John Cooper. nbsp; I have recently fitted a brand new set of  twin 1/2 SU carbs set up at the Supercharge guru of A series Engines. V Max Scart. Where it produced 102. 6 bhp. his comments where" WOW !  I get a lot of minis in ere where poeople say there car has 100bhp. most have 70-80. so yours is excellent "

I think it now looks excellent. sits perfect. goes like stink. makes all the correct mini noises espically with a straight cut. and the 5 SPEED is a real gem and makes a difference on the moterway.

In Summery this is a RARE car . not a ordinary cooper like the millions that rolled of the production line. but one that was taken to John Coopers Workshop. and it has all its signed documents. right down to the plates next to each seat. also still has correct numberplates. and window stickers that came with the car!  This Mini is a real Investment. and i shall be sorry to see it leave the family but i now have another car to play with !!  You wont find another to this condition and spec !
