great classic Daimler for sale. still.
Have committed elsewhere. so really would like to sell. However. if I don't. I have a big garage and maybe a few years left to live.
Engine reco'd 1. 00 kms ago. New pistons. rings. bearings. crank ground. heads restored. new valves. new hoses. carbs overhauled. Runs sweetly. Just returned from Adelaide.
New Connelly leather. Wood in good condition. Body good. but paint average.
Tyres and all running gear good. but may have moisture in brakes and need bleeding. Reverse switch broken. Speedo inner binding. so is disconnected. Speedo does work (clock doesn't)
Runs beautifully. but tail shaft (taken off during engine rebuild) needs aligning. Vibrates at 60 km. but at 100 plus. smooth.
New exhaust. very little rust
No reg or RWC
No reserve auction. and starting price is way under the cost of the engine and leather alone.
