Additionally the Jeep has four Toyo M+S tires in virtually new condition. Shock absorbers have been replaced. Front brakes are at 80%.

The Cherokee starts every time smoothly and with clean exhaust sounding exactly as the 4. 0 HO should. The transmission goes into drive or reverse smarlty without delay or clunks. Acceleration is strong and the engine pulls evenly throughout the rpm range. Gear changes are smooth and tight. The car tracks straight down the road and there is no vibration in the steering. Brake pedal pressure is good and stops are strong and straight. The four wheel drive engages into low and high range. and out again. The air conditioning. wipers. all exterior lights. turn signals. factory am/fm cassette stereo. door locks. window cranks and parking brake all function well.

The body is extremely straight. All panel gaps are factory perfect. Doors close and latch with precision. The paint is entirely original (verified by body shop and paint thickness meter). in excellent condition and still retains its factory gloss. Even the factory pinstripe is present and in excellent condition. There are some chips here and there and some light scratches on the rear bumper as well as two scratches on the roof. There is a scuff on the corner of the tailgate where the paint has come off. The chrome - including mirrors. door handles. grille. roof racks. mirrors. is in pristine condition - virtually as it left the factory. Glass is all original and excellent except for moderate 'rolling scratches' on the drivers side window. The wheels are original and unrestored and in very good condition with a few nicks here and there.

The upholstery. door panels. carpet. dash. and headliner are original and in stunning. perfect condition - as you would expect in a vehicle only a few years old.

Windows roll up and down smoothly and easily. All locks work easily and as they should. Seats move back and forth and recline smoothly. Speedo and odometer are in Kms. The factory water temp gauge does not function and a working aftermarket gauge has been installed under the dash.

The chassis. floor pans. and frame are all solid and the vehicle shows no signs of having been off-roaded. The chassis has not been reconditioned or re-undercoated. As you would expect on the underside of a 26 year old vehicle. there is surface corrosion present in places. The wheel wells are very clean and the bottoms or the doors. sills and interior door frame areas are exceptionally well-presented. The engine compartment is is in its original state and extremely clean and tidy.

I am the second owner and only selling because I have five collector cars and a four car garage: something has to go. I have owned it for a little over a year. There are no liens on the vehicle. Title is clear.
