Very Reluctant sale of this cool looking. (Tax Exempt) slammed 1967 VW Beetle.

Reserve has been removed!. grab a bargain!

Not had the vehicle long; however. I need to sell as it's just not practical for my daily driving needs for my current employment.

Its an absolutly stunning bug and always gets the usual admirers. comments etc.

It's by no means show standard and does have the odd few blemishes and rust spots; but would stand up and hold its own. alongside any others at the summer shows.

As you can see from the photos. the majority of the body is in excellent condition for a 45 year old bug; with only a few minor areas that could do with a tidy up; however. these do not detract from it's overall appearence.

It is very low. so as you would expect; it is quite a hard ride. but it can be raised to stock height if that's your preference.

It has a Scat quick shift gear stick and has fibre glass wings all round; so no chance of rust or rot.

It's had a recent oil change; and the mechanic commented on how solid it is all round. with good disc breaks up front.

It has had welding done to the heater channels at some point in it's life (not by me); however. the exchangers work as they should. providing a nice warm and toasty drive.

I've recently fitted a good condition 2nd hand interior carpet set in grey; which compliments its standard beige seats and door cards. I will add some interior photos in a couple of days. There are a few tears to the seats on the sides and a slight tear in the headlining; other than that its quite presentable.

From what i've been led to believe and my minimal knowledge of VW's in general; 1967 is a special year for the Beetle. as some parts. both interior and exterior are 1 year only. However. all these are readilly available from a variety of VW specialists.

Its priced at what I believe to be a fare price for a 1967 bug. and would make as an ideal first VW for someone new to the scene; or as a base for someone with the time and experience and not to much money . to restore to show standard.

The reserve is set slightly above the starting price; i'm ideally after a quick sale. so I can purchase something a bit more suitable for my job. There is a lot of over priced dubs out there; i'm just looking to retreve what I paid for it.

This bug will be missed. especially by the kids. but like i said; I need to be realistic and find something more suitable.
