Rambler American 440 Custom Convertible.
This is a rust free car with NO bondo. Original sheet metal. Straight body. Custom red paint.
Has p/s. p/b. power top. Cloth (not vinyl) top. Clear back window that zips up/down.
Has 350 chevy crate motor (stock). Edelbrock carb and manifold. 200 r 4 auto trans. Locar shift. MSD ignition. Aluminum radiator. Stainless overflow. Ididit custom tilt wheel. Front disc/rear drum brakes. Magnaflow dual exhaust.
About 18000 miles on the build. Interior is excellent with few minor imperfections. Paint is excellent with only slight road blemishes. This car drives. steers and brakes excellent. Good glass with only minor road chips.
No wrecks.
The car retains its original look with nice upgrades.
Tires are good. No a/c but very doable with vintage air. The speedometer is about 10 mph off at highway speeds. So have custom GPS speedo. Other gauges could be done to match. Other gauges function.
The car could use some new weather strip along the top. This is overall a very nice car.
It has won awards. It is a very good car to take to shows and local cruise-ins. It gets a lot of attention. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. I expect you to arrange shipping within two weeks of purchase. No international buyers. Car is listed locally. I reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time.
