1969 Land Rover Series IIA. 88 S/N 24445034 H. Pastel green with dark green interior. 2. 25 litre gas engine with four speed manual transmission (synchronized on 3-4). Four wheel drive. canvas top with three windows and roll-up sides. two side-facing rear bench seats. hood mounted spare. high-quality restoration utilizing the original. rust-free frame on this CA black plate truck.
This particular Rover received a nut-and-bolt restoration approximately 10 years ago by Peter Petrov's Marina Motors in Venice. CA. The truck has been well-maintained and used sparingly since. The engine starts immediately with no roughness or excessive smoke. Up-rated disc brakes on the front stop the truck quickly without pull. All lights. gauges. and accessories are functional.
Cosmetically. the truck presents very well. The truck was completely disassembled for painting. Paint work was done to a very good standard - showing just a few age related blemishes. The interior was upgraded slightly with seats upholstered in a very handsome dark green pebbled grain vinyl. and a carpet kit added. Hardware inside and out is fresh in appearance and free of corrosion. The canvas top is as-new and all glass is clear and free of blemishes.
