1970 Plymouth Barracuda for sale
Current customer rating:
For sale is my 1970 Plymouth Barracuda - a 340 Cuda tribute.
Father's Day weekend price reduction for a quick sale. Car is storage and need to move. My loss. next owners gain.
This is a numbers matching car in its original lime green color- repainted several years back but looks very clean. It is still with its original 318 motor which has been rebuilt. bored out and modified with Edelbrock intake. carb etc (see photo). It has a great lope to the cam and really moves down the road. (See below video link to hear the car run). I have driven 340 cars and this one runs right with them. It has always been in Southern California and is absolutely rust free and solid has extensive service and ownership history that comes with the car. I am the fourth documented owner. Original dealer purchase order and build sheet and a complete binder outlining everything that has been done to the car over many years.
Paint is beautiful most everywhere on the car. but it does have a couple cracks on driver's side rear quarter panel and a quarter-sized chip near the right rear corner of car. See video for that detail. Hard to see in photos but wanted to point them out and they are not rust related but instead seem to be from age and possibly poor prep related to the repaint. Thousands has been invested to get this in Cuda form. including new front grille. fog lights. hood decor. rear panel and rear exhaust valance with a nice dual exhaust.
It has an upgraded 727 automatic. custom offset wheels that fit nicely underneath and newer set of BF Goodrich tires with very low miles.
New interior seats and carpets including an immaculate trunk. All trim is in chrome and window trim has been redone or replaced and is in "like new" condition. Glass is clear and all the gauges work.
Car drives great. I drive this car at distance 100-200 mile weekend trips without any problems. NO overheating or smoking. AC car that works. although I have to re-charge it fairly regularly. The brakes are power disc. and it has power steering. both original to the car per the build sheet.
This is an original blue plate California car which means it has always been cared for. registered and serviced to stay on the road. Very rare to see an old Mopar like this on the road with original blue plates.
