1949 Hudson Super Six Project Car Walkaround
1949 Hudson Super Six Project Car Parts Walkaround This car spent it's entire life in the inland California desert around Fresno until it moved to a garage in San Diego for the past eight years and was finally placed outside 10 weeks ago.
I'm selling because it's too much project for my health. I'd rather apply the money toward something more finished.
Identification as a 1949 Hudson Super Six is based on the serial number and body style.
The frame and exterior body are solid with only surface rust. No bondo. Body is 98% straight. only a couple of small spots where you can detect a slight ripple of reflected light. New front end (springs. control arms. bushings. sway bar. etc). New brakes all around. Interior body is mostly solid except for rare pinholes in the cabin's floorboard. base of rear passenger door. and a short clean 90-degree cut in an otherwise solid trunk floor (easy to see in trunk pic).
Entire interior needs restoring (upholstery. door panels. headliner. carpet).
Car glass: Front and rear windshields good most door and vent windows have cracks or separation bubbles.
Spare
glass: Front and rear windshields good front door windows good no rear door windows one vent is good. the other two have good frames but cracked glass.
Other parts include interior and exterior trim pieces. engine compartment fender wells. two front bumpers. headliner ribs. and a windshield visor I'm not sure fits. Missing front grill. hood ornament. and gas tank. Has driveshaft.
