THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET A RESTORED FINISHED CLASSIC BEAUTY FOR A FRACTION OF THE PRICE. TO MAKE ONE LIKE THIS I WOULD SAY IT WOULD COST OVER 50000
THIS IS A 1936 DODGE BROTHERS CUSTOM 3 DOOR SEDAN
IT STARTED ITS LIFE AS A 4 DOOR SEDAN BUT THE BUILDER CHOSE TO MAKE IT 3 DOOR SEDAN.
EVERYTHING WAS REDONE EXTERIOR. INTERIOR AND DRIVETRAIN.
LET ME START BY SAYING AGAIN IT IS A FRAME-OFF RESTORATION VERY NICELY DONE AND ALL STEEL.
I WILL TRY TO BE BRIEF.
ENGINE IS FROM A 76 DODGE WITH 26 K MILES WITH MILD CAM WHEN PUT IN THE CAR. SINCE THEN THE CAR ALMOST HAS 4000 MILES ON IT.
TRANSMISSION IS A REBUILT 727 TORQUEFLITE
8 3/4 REAR END CAME OUT OF A 70'S CHARGER

THE OWNER BEFORE ME DID SOME WORK TO IT WHICH I HAVE THE RECEIPT FOR . INCLUDING FIXING A DENT AND PAINTING THE TRUNK LID AND I HAVE THE RECEIPT FOR IT TOO.
I DID SOME WORK ON THE CAR TO GET RID OF THE VIBRATION IN THE FRONT WHEN DRIVING ON THE HIGWAY. THE CAR NOW DRIVES A LOT SMOOTHER. AND I HAD TO REPLACE KING PINS. WHEEL BEARINGS. SHOCKS AND SWAY BAR LINKS.
THE CAR IS BEAUTIFUL AND TURNS HEAD EVERYWHERE I TAKE IT AND THE LAST PLACE WAS ON A 3 HOUR DRIVE TO OCEAN CITY FOR THE CRUISE WEEK.
THE CAR RUNS GREAT AND NEEDS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
THE BAD ON THE CAR: THE TRUNK LID WAS PAINTED BY ITSELF SO THE PAINT IS NOT 100% MATCHING.
I HAVE KIDS AND MY 4 YRS OLD SCRATCHED ONE OF THE RUNNING BOARDS WITH HER BICYCLE. ANOTHER SCRATCH HAPPENED WHILE I WAS DETAILING IT ONE TIME FROM PUSHING THE DOOR OPEN ALL THE WAY TO TOUCH THE FENDER. THE PAINT IS STARTING TO LOOK OLD IF YOU LOOK VERY CLOSELY BUT IT STILL LOOKS VERY NICE. BUT IF YOU WANT TO WIN SHOWS THEN MAYBE A NEW NICE PAINT IS ALL THAT CAR NEEDS.
IT HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER AND THE ONE AFTER HIM AND BY ME. I DONT THINK IT HAS SEEN ANY RAIN AT ALL.
EVERYTHING ON THE CAR WORKS AND IT REALLY NEEDS NOTHING.
IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST AT ALL. THE CAR IS AS SOLID AS A BRAND NEW CAR
IT MIGHT NEED FRONT TIRES BECAUSE THE WORN KING PIN BUSHINGS WORE THE TIRES UNEVEN. BUT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN FIXED.
I RECOMMEND EVERYONE WHO IS SERIOUSLY INTERESTED TO COME LOOK AT IT AND INSPECT IT HIMSELF BUT I AM CERTAIN I COVERED EVERYTHING.
