1973 BMW 3-Series E9 for sale

1973 BMW 3. 0 CSI
A very rare Euro-spec CSI for restoration. This is a grey-market E 9 first delivered to Verona. Italy in 1973. Brought to California in the late 70's and has a B. A. R. sticker. I have used this car as a daily driver since 2005.
Features smaller. European only. chrome bumpers and metric gauges. Baikel blue with black and tan cloth interior. now covered with black cloth covers. Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection.
Engine has been modified with a slightly later M 30 3. 5 liter block ( 210 hp. considerably more power than the original 177 hp) while retaining it's original cylinder head and induction gear. Tubular exhaust header. 3 piece 16” alloy rims are vintage mid 70's Hardy & Beck after market.
All glass in good shape. All four window motors work. Instruments and air controls are in German. Vintage Blaupunkt radio.
Isolated areas of rust. non-structural (see photos). Has been sitting for over a year and is currently not running. (possibly fuel injection glitch).
