We've owned this Scout for quite a few years.   Bought it mostly built but changed quite a bit locally to the suspension. steering and transmission.   I have a file folder about 2. 5" thick worth of receipts but here are the highlights from front to back.   Has a balanced and blueprinted IH 392 with Howell fuel injection that is easily the most responsive IH 392 I've ever been around.   It's mated to a recently installed Turbo 400 transmission with a stall converter built for rock crawling.   Behind the tranny is an Atlas II twin stick transfer case.   Up front is a custom 3 link suspension with a Dana 70 with 4. 88's and a Detroit locker with lock out hubs.   Out back is a custom 4 link suspension with a  Dana 80 with 4. 88's and a Detroit locker.   All four corners are on coils.   All four wheels are Hummer beadlocks and brand new Irok 39. 5" Swampers that honestly haven't even been on a trail.   The steering is a dual ram full hydraulic system so keep that in mind if you're wanting this to drive on the road.   The steering allows you to turn the tires(regardless of what they're up against) with one finger on the wheel.   Custom driveshafts front and rear and a spare mounted in the back.   Good sized winch mounted under the radiator up front that I can't remember ever using.   This rig comes with a stock Scout 800 rear seat to mount if you wish and two high back bucket seats(racing type) for the front.   Has a cobra hand held CB.   This thing has maxed out every ramp we've ever had it on and does it in a very stable way.   It's been on all the hardest trails in Colorado and really didn't have a problem. it really makes most hard trails seem like a gravel road.   Can't remember ever breaking a part on this thing which is in stark contrast to all of our other Scouts we've run on trails.   It's been remarkably well kept.   Been cleaned after every trail ride and garaged soon thereafter.   For the last few years it was only used once a year on an annual trip out to Colorado  and it hasn't even been on that trip the last two years.   We're hesitant to sell this truck as we know we'll never even come close to building or buying another one like it for the money we're selling it for.   Any buyer will NOT be disappointed in this rig.
