I am relisting my Valiant because buyer changed their mind. Im not sure what they expected. this is NOT a new car.   This is a 47 year old car that has NOT been restored.   My loss is your gain!  I have to put my '66 up for sale. can only have one car where I live.   "It's a WHAT?!?"  Yes. nbsp;it's a Valiant!!!  People are always looking at it and asking what it is. Woman particularly like it.   So Plymouth thought they would compete with the '66 Mustang and this is what they came up with. It's a great car but it just didn't cut it. I love this car. it's fun. funky and bullet proof!  It's a Slant 6. 225 manual 3 speed on the column and has manual steering. Engine compartment is far from pretty. but the engine runs like a top. Always starts right up even if it has been sitting. the Slant 6 is the most reliable engine ever made. thats why they stopped making them!  Milage shows 65. 00 but only goes up to 99. 00.   I was told there was only 65. 00 on the Slant 6. but no garentees.   Over 15 years ago I had it painted (MAACO). had a new top put on and had the carpet and custom uphostery done. . and new tires.  The paint is peeling in spots. and the tires have wear and one is a bit cracked from sitting.  There is very little rust. just light surface in trunk and under body.   It was originally a V8 engine. and if you know about these things then you know that the VIN does not have the engine type on it. so there are no numbers to match. They only made 2504 of these so they are pretty darn rare. but it has also gotten alot easier to find parts for them.   I have all the trim. hub caps. Close ups show rust on front bumper. tiny BB holes (maybe wasps?) in top (grrr) and where terrorist tow truck driver hit the car. broke the tail light and made a dent.  The interior shots don't show the colors very well. they are aqua. lighter shiny/pearl aqua and grey with black piping with next to no wear.   Check out the past listings for this car and see how much they have gone for. the last one in better shape went for $7. 00 and didn't even have bucket seats!  And no I will not take $2000 for it. a dead convertible with no engine would go for that amount. so please don't ask. $500 non refundable deposit. You make arangements for towing or driving.   Paypal only. Thanks for looking. and happy bidding

i am glad you have all the chrome and access. for the valliant. i was concerned when i seen the photos not thinking i could find the missing parts. However. unless the parts are installed on the car i assume there is a reason or even a problem why? I think it's a cool car providing it is the way the picture shows but $1,000 dollars without seeing it or a some garentee is too much. You said you wouldn't take $2,000. however the colummn says $1,000 or make an offer. would you consider less? thank you.
