Up for sale is this astounding 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible. This car has received a ground up nut and bolt restoration which took the better part of 3 years to complete. With only 511 miles since completion. Refinished in the correct Lagoon Aqua. the body and frame on this Chevelle were put on a rotisserie and media blasted then the car received new quarter panels. trunk floor and floor pans. The underside is equally detailed and properly painted to stock specifications. All chrome and stainless steel trim is absolutely restored or NOS and looks like new! The tinted windshield is a correct OEM replacement with all side glass being original to the car. The white vinyl interior has been professionally restored with new door panels. seats. restored dash. new kick panels. new console with floor shifter and an new white canvas top. The original AM radio has been rebuilt by Ultrasound and works like new! Under the hood is the original 283 (220 HP) 4 barrel engine which has been completely rebuilt and restored. Mated to the motor is the original 2 speed power glide automatic. also rebuilt. The original non-positraction 10 bolt axle is present with 3. 31 gears. The front end has been completely rebuilt and features new shocks on all four corners. The exhaust is an OEM correct aluminized dual exhaust featuring OEM mufflers. This Chevelle rides on its original 14 inch wheels with factory correct wheel covers. Options include AM radio. hub caps. power brakes. power steering. vinyl interior. clock and bias ply white wall tires.

In 1964 Chevrolet only produced 9. 40 Convertible Chevelle Malibu SS in a V 8. This fine auto comes with Owners Manual and in the plastic sleeve the dealership would place them in.
