I have for sale a 1986 Volkswagen Golf Diesel in excellent condition!
Only 59714 original miles! The vehicle report shows a discrepancy with the miles but this is only because my Dad wrote the number wrong on the title when we got it.  This caused a discrepancy with the report and we cannot get them to take it off.  
REST ASSURED the mileage is correct and valid! 
5 speed manual.
I'm technically the third owner but for its first 29 years this car was a one owner!
In the last 2 years we've done the following:
-new timing belt and water pump-new valve cover gasket-new tires-updated A/C fittings-COLD A/C!-new shift selector-new exhaust-just a few weeks ago!
It has only been driven about 3000 miles over the last two years and has always been garage kept. It has always been plugged in on those rare days that it was super cold and anti-gel was added to the fuel when needed. Last oil change was about 100 miles ago.
I believe this is one of the best unrestored examples of this car left on the road anywhere. It's nearly perfect! It's 99% rust-free. The only rust is in two small spots on the body right above the rear tires as you can see in the photos. Otherwise it's completely clean.
The only thing it needs is a new stereo and a knob for the right side mirror adjustor. The radio works but the cassette deck does not.
I will consider SERIOUS offers. Please don't waste my time or your own with low-ball offers. No Trades!
I am in Indianapolis and the buyer must pick up in-person. No shipping.

We encourage a $500 deposit via Paypal which is refundable if sale is not completed. Remaining amount will be due in-person at pickup.
