1982 Porsche 928 for sale
Current customer rating:
This is a vehicle I bought from an exotic car dealer on e Bay in June 2013 with 58. 00 miles. After delivery. I took it for its 60 k tune up at my local Porsche dealer. They informed me that the timing belt was already changed just before I got the car. It runs well. but I need room in my garage for another family car. The body is in excellent condition. The A/C runs cold and the heater works too. The only two items that do not work are the back wiper and the moonroof.
The battery is new. The tires are also in good condition. Earlier this year. the instrument cluster failed and pretty much all the gauges (including odometer) are now not working. I took it to a local Porsche mechanic who identified that problem is the electronic cluster ribbon. a $50 piece. He could't locate a new or used one from his usual sources. so he just re-assembled the pod. If you can find one. the cluster will function again. according to the mechanic. So. unfortunately. I can't guarantee the millage. but this is car that has historic plates and has been used only for the occasional cars and coffee event and Sunday drive. No long runs and not a commute or daily car. Since the cluster failed I only took it out once a week for a quick ride around the block to make sure it moves. and that all is working well.
