1976 BUICK SKYLARK
only 74. 32 original miles on car.
Car is in great condition for its age.
V 6 231 odd fire engine
MOTOR NO GOOD!
MOTOR SEIZED. NEEDS NEW MOTOR!
Everything else works fine.
I bought this car for my son a while back. He completely rebuilt the entire front end. new upper and lower ball joints. new upper and lower control arm bushings. new tie rod ends. new front brake calipers. new rotors. new pads. new rear wheelbrake cylinders . new rear brake shoes. new front springs and shocks. new rear leaf springs and new air shocks in rear with new shackle kit and shock extenders. exhaust was redone. Buick Rally rims with original Buick rally center caps. good tires.
Car also has brand new alternator. new neutral safety switch. new ignition switch. new ignition key cylinder.
He added racing stripes and hood pins to car
Very clean interior. front bench seat had some tears that he had redone. looks nice now. headliner is perfect. has some new speakers and radio but radio still needs to be hooked up.
Car started to get the usual small pin holes of rust on the lower panels. minor. see pics. also paint starting to bubble slightly around the landau roof. typical of these cars.
Cool old car! just needs a new motor!. You could probably just drop a small block in it and go have some fun!
or replace the V 6 with another and enjoy better gas milage.
either way its a nice car to work with.
almost forgot. He also put a keyless entry system in the car with power door locks!
