This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1967 Chevelle is in many peoples mind the pinnacle of the muscle car era as far as styling goes. Its long and sleek lines are absolutely beautiful while screaming American Muscle. This black beauty has had a lot of work done to bring it to the level it is today. Under the hood is what people want in there classic especially a 67 Chevelle. The 396 BB is one of the most sought after engines to ever come out . of Detroit. With an attention to detail the engine not only looks good but runs even stronger. Bored . 030 over bumping the true displacement to 402 CI and with a 9. 5 to 1 compression pump gas does just fine. The raw polished Valve covers are a great touch and give the engine a clean yet raw look. Once you turn the key you realize this is not your stock 396. You can almost hear each piston fire as the larger cam gives this big block a distinct exhaust tone. A hit of the throttle and that loping idle climbs to a bellowing scream as this quick revving big block climbs into the higher RPM’s. The quick fuel carb feeds the big block just the right amount of fuel allowing this monster to perform at its top potential. The exterior of the car has been done in a sleek and cool satin black that has about the shine of an eggshell. With the chrome accents and brite-work giving the car a clean and finished look. The larger than usual wheels show off the upgraded 4-wheel disc brakes while giving the car a much more modern look. Open the door and the interior is period correct with the split bench up front allowing easy access to the back seat.
