null 850 sport spider

Sale price: $0.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: 1973 Fiat 850 The car is in good shape, everything is there. There is rust underneath, but from what I can see its only surface rust. The original color looks orange, a little rust coming through the blue paint in some areas. Paper work and title from 87 on shows it pretty much a California car, before that,It would require more research.I have never tried starting the car, I was told by previous owner, that he had it running good then it sat for 3 years.Ive had it sitting for 6 months. No time to work on it. The interior is ok but needs some redue, everything is there gauges and all. Glove box seems to be an added cover for the opening. It rolls and all the gears seem to lock. Needs breaks. Its not a driver at the moment,But i think with a little investment and time it would be a great little convertible. Especially good on gas for a daily driver.

1973 Fiat 850 sport spider.   l bought this car for a project car for my girlfriend. I just bought a house and now our priority changed. The car is in good shape. everything is there. There is rust underneath. but from what I can see its only surface rust. Paper work and title from 87 on shows it pretty much a California car. before that would require more research. Its a great find for a restoration project. I don't know if the motor runs never tried starting it. The previous owner told me he had it running good. but then a supposed Father and son project sat for 3 years. All the engine parts seem to be there. The water tank as you can see in the picture needs replacement. It needs a whole go through before putting it on the road. Now its been sitting 6 months since I bought it. Its had interior work done years ago. But I would still re due it. The convertible frame is all there. Needs a cover though. The tires are not holding air and I think there not the proper size for the car. Being such a light car its very easy to roll. The door and latches are very stout. I was very surprised. usually these cars are rust buckets. This one is very sound. And it needs the breaks done over.
