1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep

Sale price: $16,000.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: This is a very well preserved CJ2a that has less than 10000 original miles. Original Picket Grey paint with Harvard Red wheels. Still 6 volt with original, correct dated components (generator, voltage regulator, distributor, keyed coil, headlights and taillight). All the gauges work as they should. It has the original carburetor which was rebuilt a couple years ago. Comes with a complete and working capstan winch and Novi governor. This is a very solid jeep that has some surface rust but absolutely no thin metal. Even the toolbox and underbody retain most of the original paint. Hat channels are solid. This is a low mileage CJ2A that runs and drives great and doesn't smoke at all. Oil pressure runs between 40 and 50 psi and the temp runs about 170 to 180 normally. The bad; it has 6 holes on the left side of the dash near the light switch and 2 holes behind each seat where it had seat belts added at one time (my guess), driver's rips, and the tires are old, old, old, but still hold air.

I'm the 4th owner of this Jeep. It originally sold in Chardon. OH. The original owner kept a log of use and maintenance which will be included as well as the original owner's manual. I'm guessing when the original owner died the estate sold the vehicle because in the late 80's or early 90's the Jeep made its way to Southern California and a few years later. to PA where I found it about 4 years ago. I'd love to keep this Jeep but family comes first and times are getting tight. I will do my best to answer any questions you have. Good luck bidding.

I just realized I failed to mention but the jeep also includes the original 10 pc canvas top and bows. It's in very good condition. with just minimal wear of the top front piece. The rest of the top doesn't look like it was used much. All windows are intact but there is a small crack in the corner of one of the door windows. Once again. the top in the pictures is reproduction and is not included in the sale.
