This is an example of a nice old driver quality 1966 Mustang Convertible.

The car starts up every time and I have driven it across Ohio and I drive it all summer long to work.

I bought the car in Washington DC and it spent the majority of its life in Maryland. so it did not see the salty winters of Ohio.

The 289 runs great and the power steering and automatic transmission make it easy to drive.

This car was in a time capsule when I found it a few years back.

It looks as though it was painted the last time in the 70's or 80's in enamel paint and has been touched up a few times.

The car does have body filler and would need rear quarter panel sections installed if you are planning on a restoration one day.

The shock towers. radiator support. cowl. front frame rails and torque boxes are extremely clean.

The floors have been patched more that one time as you can see from the pictures and I would replace with a one piece floor if restoring.

Also look at one of the last pictures and you will see the passenger rear frame rail has a small section rusted through. so plan on having half of that rail replaced as well.

The inside of the trunk and gas tank area is also really clean as you can see.
