Saab 99 Turbo 1981 – For Sale

I am reluctantly selling my 1981 Saab 99 Turbo 2 Door Coupe in excellent condition. It is a daily runner and has considerable recent works carried out on it (2k+). bringing it up to a great standard. I bought the car after it had been put to bed for 10 years or so; before it had been stood up it had considerable works carried out including an engine rebuild. new turbo etc. which I have the receipts for. It required minimal attention to get it road worthy and I got Malbrad Saab Specialist's to do all the work. Please see the list below for the new parts:

The brake set-ups are practically new including new calipers. as well as the suspension set-up being the same and adjustable. The wheels are in decent condition including a full size spare and decent tread on all Pirelli tyres. The body work is in great condition and not a rot box like a lot I have seen. the wing arches are showing no rust like they normally do. The welding has been minimal for its age. it has had a underside boot section welded in to a very high standard and the most recent works included a small patch under the front wing and the sills done by Malbrad to a very high standard and not just patched but replacement sections inserted. The paint work is in good condition but being black and for it ages there is fading and scratches can be seen as well as a chip on the bonnet.

The interior is in very good condition. it has the usual sagging headlining which I was due to replace and put a better quality sunroof in but time has got away from me. It has an old cassette player/radio and CD changer including speakers etc. The rev. counter is currently not working. however I replaced the dial itself but this is actually fine. and it's the constant 12v supply wire which has come loose which I will try repair before it gets sold.

I have just had the cylinder head taken off and stripped down; the head was cleaned up. skimmed. 4x new exhaust guides. 1x new insert. all valves lapped in. In addition to this it has just been re-shimmed so running nice and smooth. The car comes with some spares including; a water injection unit which allows you to increase the power if you so wish and make it a Turbo S. there is a spare cylinder head. valves and cam and possibly some odd hoses.

The car is MOT'd until till 29th May 2014 and taxed till 30th November 2013 with 95. 00 miles on the clock and still driving. The reason for sale is that I am moving house and have to sell at least one of my cars so this one got the short straw.
