EXTERIOR
This stunning red Sunbeam Tiger is in beautiful condition benefiting from a full repaint in its original colour around 3 years ago. The quality of the works is first rate and the paint is free from any imperfections with excellent panel gaps. The attention to detail is excellent and when the car was reassembled any trim part or rubber seal were replaced to give it that factory fresh look. The chrome is also in fantastic condition fee of corrosion. pitting or dents. All of the lights and glass are in fine order with no chips or cracks. The car comes with a factory hard top that is finished in white and is also in excellent shape.

INTERIOR
The interior has a wonderful period feel and the original body hugging sports seats remain in remarkable condition. The wood on the dash is in fine condition and sets off the sparkling chrome dials and switches perfectly. The driving position is excellent and all the controls work as the should falling easily to hand. a nice edition is the Moto-Lita steering wheel that sits well in the cockpit. The carpets have all been replaced with high quality deep pile items and the boot area is very clean housing the spare wheel and tool kit.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Firing this Tiger up is a real treat for the ears for any petrol head. the V8 sounds awesome with an American muscle car throb. In the early years the car benefited from the popular upgrade from the 260cu V8 to the 289cu V8 Ford unit. The engine is in fine fettle with an excellent record of service and maintenance work and also benefits from a few period upgrades including a LSD and a stainless steel exhaust system.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The car comes with a period set of immaculate 13" Minilite alloys that are all shod in a recent set of 185/70/13 Yokohama tyres. After the current owner purchased the car he had some extensive work done refreshing the suspension and brakes to make sure everything was 100%. The result is a classic that drives. stops and handles like it did when new.

HISTORY FILE
This series 1 Tiger was first registered in June 1965 and along with the current V5 it has copies of the old registration documents going back to the early 1980's.

There is a huge history file that shows a considerable amount of recent expenditure including a bill from last December for £6. 00. The brief for this expenditure was to go through the car with a find toothcomb to make sure everything was in working order. replace all required suspension and braking components. new exhaust and manifolds and to supply and fit a limited slip differential.

Another folder is full of all the old history that shows a great maintenance record going right back to the mid 80's. there are also lots of MOT certificates over this period. Also included are the original owners brochures. handbook and lots of Sunbeam owners club literature. Another nice addition to the file are some old photographs showing the cars pre painted excellent condition.
