1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

Thank you for looking! This is a beautiful 1983 Mercedes 300 SD turbo diesel. This car is in really great shape inside and out. Carfax is perfect. There are ~296. 00 miles on the 5 cylinder diesel engine. which runs extremely well - there's nothing like driving these cars! The automatic transmission shifts perfectly with no issues. The only real issue externally is the paint. which I would judge 7 out of 10. The paint on the trunk lid is spotting and there is some fading on a small area on the roof. No dents. but a few scratches here and there. I have all the service records for review. the bulk of the work is done by Tony's German auto care in Santa Ana. CA. Fuel filters and occasional oil changes done by Fletcher Jones. This car has been extremely well taken care of. Some additional info on the mechanical/exterior:New neutral safety switch and shifter bushings New radiator and water pump New cruise control module (cruise control works great!)New vacuum system for power door locks New vacuum lines (for engine shut off)New motor mounts (~6. 00 miles ago)New front brakes (~1. 00 miles ago)New rear tires (1. 00 miles ago). all tires are in great shape 14" Mercedes wheels re-chromed 1 year agoall fuel filters replaced at 287 KBattery replaced ~1 year ago The interior of the car is very good. All tan leather is in great shape. no tears in any seats. There is a small crack in the dash coming off of the speaker vent (i can send you close up photos). All door panels are excellent. however the driver side front and rear each have a crack on the top. There are no tears or stains in the headliner or anywhere else. Carpet is in excellent condition as well. Other highlights:Rebuilt dash instrument panel (speedometer. tach. etc. )New instrument panel window The sunroof mechanism (including motor in the trunk) has all be rebuilt/replaced. It works perfectly!Alpine cd/usb/aux/bluetooth stereo Focal 4" 2-way slim speakers throughout Alpine 45 W/4 head unit power pack 250 watt mono amplifier 10" subwoofer Renegade 20% window tint (with warranty card)All audio system and window tinting was done by Audio Toyz in Rancho Santa Margarita in July 2013. Documentation included. All interior and exterior lights work perfectly. The power windows. seats and mirror all function (passenger front window mechanism was rebuilt about 2 years ago). Power (vacuum) door and trunk locks all work. Air conditioning and auto climate control works perfectly. blowing ice cold air (the air conditioning unit has NOT been converted and was charged last fall). Center vent baffles were just replaced. so all vents work. All the wood trim is excellent.
