You are viewing a 1934 Dodge Truck. This is the short bed with suicide doors. In storage since 1972. the truck was from Napa. the premier winery area in California. This is a great area for old cars as they are generally rust-free. The only area on this truck that will need rust repair is on the lower corners of the cab next to the doors. See image.
The cab infrastructure is very nice with only surface
rust and no actual metal loss.
The cab is straight and the bed and rear fenders are near perfect.
The front fenders are decent but the bottoms were they attach to the frame horns are removed. See image.
The hood is nice but was not the hood that was originally on the truck. The hood sides and tops are near perfect. The radiator cap is missing one of the horns and does not have the inner plate that tightens down the cap to the radiator.
The cab is complete with all the hardware for the window mechanism
and door latch assemblies. The windshield also has the correct restraint arms and hinges allowing the windshield to open.
The original firewall was replaced to accommodate the 1957 Oldsmobile 371. The engine has the stock four barrel and the hydra-matic transmission. The previous owner actually ran the engine. It appears to have run because it has temporary wiring in place.
The brake cylinders are new with most of the lines new. The truck has a new gas tank.
The truck has a California title but the transfer was never completed. The original title will suffice for shipping overseas. The original identification numbers were on the firewall that was removed. The numbers reflecting on the title are on the reproduction tag and mounted on the new firewall. The original vin number is 666777. The truck is also equipped with 4 new Coker Tires.
