Up for auction. 1974 Ford F 100 Ranger XLT Truck - Shortbed
Original Midnight Blue color basecoat/clearcoat R&M Diamont paint. Rust Free. Painted a year and a half ago.
Highly sound and solid truck!
Lots of new stuff!!
This thing is like a new truck with thicker metal.
Was a very solid. sound body to begin with. Floor pans are solid as are all cab mount and sheet metal. Very straight truck. Has NO collision damage. Cab corners. and any typical rust such as lower door corners and lower fenders. were cut out and metal welded in. Detailed under hood / engine compartment. Firewall and all other areas painted. Undercarriage also painted.
Has a fresh 351 cu. in. Windsor engine with a manual 3 speed on the column. Power brakes. Has a new Zoom Perfection clutch. pressure plate and release bearing. New clutch release rod. fork. boot. New Teflon Kingpin bushings. draglink. tire rod ends. and torque strut bushings.
New brake rotors. drums. pads. shoes. master cylinder. fluid hoses. New radiator and hoses. New heater hoses. New weatherstrips. New fuel sending unit. New original style seat cover from NPD with new padding. New carpet and headboard. with all inside cab having been painted and trimmed out. New dual exhaust. 2 1/4'' and Edelbrock Mufflers. Has original steel wheels with hubcaps and new tires (Whitewall).
Has a super slick paint finish. but has not been color sanded and buffed - would make it even more slick.
The front grill frame is presentable but has some spotting. but the inserts are restored to new appearance.
Front bumper is VGC but has minimal scarring.
They are 43 years old. right?
Rear step bumper is OK but could stand a replacement for show.
Truck runs out well and rides very good.
Truck needs to be picked up by Memorial Day. otherwise pickup would have to wait until June 7 th.
