A very smart. well sorted Alfa in the attractive Dutch Blue with unusual red interior. Supplied new by Bell & Colville to a Patricia Lyons who kept the car for 16 years.
Body is very sound. paintwork is good with just a couple of pin dents to report.
Interior is very attractive and in above average condition. A mohair hood is fitted and the car has a tonneau cover. Mechanically the car has been lovingly maintained in good condition.
Recent work in the last 6000 miles includes waxoiling and undersealing. overhauled gearbox. replacement of clutch master and slave cylinders. recondiitioning of cylinder head along with unleaded conversion. new pads and discs.
new fuel tank fitted.
Lots of history accompany the car including the original bill of sale. receipts 1989 to date. olds MOTs back to 1992 (the car was off the road '01-08) and owners handbook
The car has current MOT till Dec. 2013 and UK tax till Oct 2013
The S 2 Spider has been undervalued of late compared to other Alfas though prices are on the up. This is a rare opportunity to purchase an Alfa in turn key condition that requires no work so could prove to be an astute investment as well as providing wind in the hair fun!
