You are looking at a Ford F-1 series "Bonus Built" 1/2 ton custom flatbed pickup truck. Finished in period correct Ford color Meadow Green with laser straight panels and gloss black running boards. The chassis has been professionally stretched 22". The steel framed flatbed is finished with beautiful hand picked red oak wood with 15 coats of clear and custom Mar-K steel strips bolted to the wood from underneath to give it the classy look. The bed is dressed with amber clearance lights and the surround and tailboard was fabricated from 1/8 inch thick steel.
Clean. painted and a refurbished dash. The interior is newer including headliner. seat cover. visors and carpet kit. Windows go up and down smoothly. new windshield and flat glass. including functional front quarter vent windows. New rubber is all the way around. An Omega Custom gauge set with working fuel gauge. oil pressure gauge . temperature gauge. and voltmeter. Omega GPS dial type speedometer with digital readout odometer.
It is a stock Chevy 454 engine coupled with a Turbo 400 transmission. and a 1957 Chevy rear end. Fuel delivery is via a 4 barrel Weber carburetor feeding into a pro comp aluminum intake manifold. For cooling it has a new oversized aluminum radiator with fan controlled by a thermostat. The front end is a Mustang II front suspension kit with power steering and disc brakes in front and drums in the back. All the brake hardware is newer including a dual master cylinder and power brake booster. The truck sits on 205/75 R 15 tires in the front and beefier 235/75 R 15's in the rear.
This is a beautiful truck that I can assure you is a head turner. Great paint and wood make this truck. The unique flatbed can't be beat. Classic “California Legacy” black license plates.
