1960 Austin Healey Sprite for sale

I've owned this car for six years and purchased it with the intent of keeping it. Due to my job I only got to drive it two or three times a year to local shows and occasionally just to get the smiles from other drivers.
I am selling it only for one reason - I want to upgrade the avionics in my airplane. Someone is going to get a great deal here. I have the reserve set just above the starting price - I purchased it for 18 K and put 7 K into it. I know I won't get that out of it. but please keep that in mind when you bid as the cost of overhaul on the engine and drive train is already done for you. This Bugeye is rust free. has mostly original equipment. still has original generator and I had the factory tachometer modified by Smiths to be electronic. There are a few electrical issues. like the horn and the turn signals inside indication aren't working. but I have the parts to fix it. just not the time. I have the front bumper. I have plenty of other pictures for those who are interested.
This may be the nicest Bugeye for sale in a while at a price that is worth bidding on. Good luck to all of us!
