After leaving the Detroit factory. this

well optioned Hudson was originally sold from Imperial Motors of Bozeman.

Montana where it was sold to its first owner. Leo E. Robbins on September

11. 1952. Robbins was a meticulous owner. keeping everything the dealer

delivered with the new car including owner service policy. owner's manual.

radio manual. workshop book. accessory folder. clock tag. and Hudson key

fob—all of which is retained with the car today. The Montana license plate

that first graced the Hornet's rear end is also still with the car.

Robbins only kept the car briefly before

selling it to fellow Bozeman resident Ray Myers on November 4. 1955. Myers

took advantage of Montana's vast opens spaces and by 1960 had accumulated

48. 00 miles on the car according to a service sticker from that year

still affixed to the car. By the late 1960 s the car was laid up however.

kept in dry storage until it was discovered by master Porsche restorer

Victor Miles. When Miles acquired the car on December 20. 2008. it had

been sitting for four decades. but had enjoyed the car friendly dryness of

Montana's vast. mountainous expanse—only the headliner and carpets were in

need of cleaning.

The car is an

incredible original with several significant and interesting features and

options.

The car is a factory Twin H car with dual carburetors.

The car

has its original AM radio which still works.

It also has one of the most

scarce options of all. the factory accessory tissue dispenser.

It is also

equipped with its original factory heater.

The paint is all

original and has some checking and cracking.

There are several small

scratches on the passenger side.

The polished aluminum trim is in

remarkable condition with no dents or damage.

The chrome bumpers are also

excellent with only a couple of very small blemishes and parking lot

dings.

The interior is

virtually as it was when the car was delivered new in Montana.

The seat

fabric is entirely original.

The drivers seat has two vertical tears

about three inches each on the seat back.

Aside from this. they are

excellent.

The rear seat is perfect and the original lace map compartment

is also perfect with original materials.

The dash and

instruments are all excellent original both in appearance and in

functionality.

The speedometer and odometer work well.

All of the gauges

and controls work as well.

The headliner and sun shades are excellent

originals.

The trunk is

clean with only minor staining.

The floor is solid with not a hint of

rust or rust repair anywhere.

The original jack resides in place next to

the spare tire.

Mechanically refurbishing the car for

everyday use. Miles enjoyed the car in sunny Southern California before

selling it to the current owner in 2011. Since acquisition. over $5. 00

has spent on further mechanical refurbishment with all receipts for work

included with the car. Showing fewer than 58. 00 miles from new. this

cosmetically original. recorded history from new. and with all of it

original books and manuals Hornet is ready to move on to only the fifth

owner of its lifetime.

The car starts

with virtually one pump of the gas pedal and runs smoothly and evenly.

The car can be driven anywhere with 100% confidence and trust.

With restored

examples now selling well over the $150. 00 mark. here is a chance to

acquire what the restored cars can't have: Originality.

The only ones available are either cars with

lots of rust repair or totally incorrect cars.

Parts are impossibly to
