Up for bid is a well kept 1967 Amphicar 770. There are only about 400 Amphicar's left and boy do we have a nice one.   This 1967 Amphicar 770 has the original mileage of 1952 miles - 8 of which we put on road testing this car. (It was a blast driving around in it--quite an eye catcher).   The car is mechanically sound. All original equipment. We found the car radio does not work. has one broken tail light. one visor missing. one cracked door vent glass. left side mirror missing its glass. This car needs cosmetic and upholstery work for restoration. Great winter project. This is practically a rust free car. It's been garaged kept for the last 40 years. We found bondo covering dents but no rust. Transmission checked - no water in the gear oil.   This car can be seen by appointment only.   Car is located just outside York. PA $500 deposit required within 24 hrs. with remainder due within 3 days.  Buyer assumes all responsibility for pickup and/or shipping.   We will assist with logistics.    Serious bidders ONLY!!
