1968 Mercury Cougar XR 7 6. 5 Liter (390 cid ) 4 V . Repainted once to the original color in 1986 and has been in dry storage since . It has been driven about 100 miles since 1986 just to keep everything working . thererfore I believe the original mileage of 45097 to be correct . It runs . tops and steers good . The gauges . concealed headlights . sequential tail lights all work . The only non originals I know of are the radio and air cleaner . It has the original Rallye wheels and still has the bias ply tires that were on it in 1986 . This car was the property of my elderly uncle . so I have limited knowledge of it and am selling to close his estate .
