1974 Bay Window Type 2 Bus

Oh yes! Fantastic Bus

in great shape. no rust ever. I completely redid it inside and out. This bus. runs excellent. doesn't leak oil. has no issues. I love driving it. I have had this bus in car shows and it always takes a prize. It turns heads. is fun to drive and is very comfortable for the driver and guests. More photos available upon request.

This van spent almost its entire life in dry Texas where it was always garaged. Fully Restored. All work is top notch. Thousands of dollars have gone into this bus. This bus runs and drives excellent with awesome power/performance. This is a special bus. Perfect for someone who do not want to wait the 2-year restoration process. And appreciate. drive ability. gas mileage. comfort. and reliability of a bay window air cooled motor.

The motor was completely rebuilt before installation. The engine has rebuilt head. new rod and main bearings. oil pump. header. cam kit (mild street). new gaskets/head gaskets.

Paint/Body- This bus is an exceptional example. The best color on an early bay window in my opinion. This bus has always been garaged. The paint is in exceptional condition and still looks new.

Interior- New tires.

Once in a great while you find a van that has been well cared for its entire life. Very desirable color combination. Many hours went into the build and recent preservation of this bus. There are many things I have not listed that have been done to this bus. 1974 is the most sought after year for collectors. This van has been vastly improved over the original design. This is a one of a kind bus. Perfect for adventures. car shows. or an exceptional daily driver.
