1980 Alpine-Renault A310 2.7L V6 true European version, legal in US with title for sale
Current customer rating:
Looking for a good home of my long owned ALPINE-Renault A 310 V 6.
I truly love this car. I just don't have enough time to enjoy it. I am more in classic motorcycles now than in cars.
If I can't at least ride/drive a vehicle 2000 miles a year I "have to" sell it that's my law. So. unfortunately the Alpine is on the list.
I have had seven (7!) Alpine A 310's in my life so far and this is No. 5 that I kept. because it is the best reliable and driving car I owned.
But. it is not a "Show Car". and it was never intended to be. I owned this Alpine for 21 years. All works. turn the key and drive it.
It is presently the only Alpine A 310 in North Carolina. and one out of about 30 in the entire US.
It's the last first and last body-shape of the "first series" Alpine V 6's that was built from 1976 to 1980. and it has (originally) the later 5-speed manual transmission. NO electronics! (. except the time-correct radio) Simple. pure mechanical technology.
Easy to work on. parts easy to get (I have needed three parts over 21 years. and the cost me all together about $200. 00). I think it says 85. 00 km on the odometer. but that's relative. Engine and transmission were rebuilt in the early 90's. and I have put about 40. 00 miles on it since then. so I list it as "100. 00" miles. This is not a verfied mileage. and there is no such thing as a Car Fax. It was originally sold in Switzerland and has a short European VIN number.
The car is reasonably priced. and the final price will depend on all the accessories and parts you want with it.
Right now I am sellign it with two set of wheels and tires. the original Alpine Factory Option Gotti 15" wheels of the 70's/80's. and the special fitted 17" six-double spoke Enkei style wheels. that allow wider and lower profile tires for a more up-dated grip.
There is a fiberglass damage on the left front fender from a "kiss" of a guardrail on the German Nuerburgring in Germany. All works. the car has e. g also an upgraded radiator and a ported cylinder head and is in top mechanical condition. Turn the key and driiive anywhere.
I could continue to tell a long story. post a lot of pictures (which I have to send out). but I'd rather talk first personally with a seriousley interested buyer.
If you are such an individual pick up the phone. call or text me best is to set up a time for a good conversation ).
