AMAZING 1962 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER C-120 4X4 PICKUP ! WATCH VIDEO!

As frank e. nelson of roseburg oregon thumbed through the international sales brochure choosing options  he had no idea his creation would still be around over 51 years later and as beautiful as ever! Frank. born 1922. was the son of a swedish immigrant and worked on his fathers farm in roseburg oregon. at age 41 frank found himself at canyon motor company in canyonville. oregon looking at the new line of international trucks. needing a truck with a little more carrying capacity than his 1961 f-100 he hand selected every option carefully. he knew he would want a drivers side armrest for those long camping trips. a passenger side visor to keep the oregon sun out of his wifes eyes. an extra heavy duty bumper and a special order seat cover not usually found on these old trucks. ( same seat cover you see on it today!)

      frank took delivery of his truck on january 14th 1963 for a grand total of $1. 39. 00 trade difference. frank used the truck sparingly over the next 3 decades until his passing at 85 years of age. the truck sat inside with franks relatives until coming to michigan in 2013.

    this truck has a story as amazing as its condition. it is a completely rust free vehicle that is in MOST of its original condition. the hood. roof. and left and right panels have been painted. their is ZERO filler in this vehicle! the original 304 v-8 has been swapped for a medium duty international 404 v-8. the engine was completely rebuilt . the transmission was swapped out for a rebuilt nvg 4500 5speed with new bearings and synchros. there is a custom shaft from the transmission to the transfer case. the original steering column was modified to accomodate the power steering with thorson u-joints. the steering box is off a 75 1300 truck. the bellhousing . clutch and mounts are all IH. the engine makes about 380 H. P. and runs on low octane fuel. it has a 750 cfm holley carb with a DUI electronic distributor. all the brakes are redone and it has the original power boost brakes. the front knuckles have all new seals and pins along with new tie rod ends. the gears are 4. 09

     i have all the original paperwork to this truck including its original build sheet. original purchase agreement. and many more items! the truck has a flip up dvd screen to play movies or what i did is play old international commercials at car shows. i also have a very nice display sign included with the sale.

      this truck is truly amazing! it has all the new powertrain components to drive absolutely anywhere on the planet while maintaining its original patina. the tires are brand new all the way around including the spare. the clore farms on the doors are just vinyl stickers that will come right off.

    i enjoy buying these vehicles. fixing them up. and ultimately finding them new homes. sometimes i make a profit . sometimes not. but it is an enjoyable hobby! please look at my feedback on the previous internationals i have sold.
