FERRARI 308 GTS QV Quattrovalvole 1985 Last of the 308's before the 328's arrived.
Only 53900 kms since new. Australian delivered in February 1985. Original. Unmodified Ferrari I am the 3 rd owner. Have owned this Ferrari for last 15 years.
It is not concours. but in absolutely excellent condition throughout. Most people can't believe it's over 32 years old.
Paint is original. in beautiful condition. Never accident damaged. A few marks from general use. Absolutely no rust.
Trim is very good with a nice patina that only a 32 year old car gives.
Removable targa roof is excellent with original correct cover.
Everything works as it should.
Air-con will probably need re-gas. as I have never used it.
Mechanically excellent. Regularly serviced and maintained.
New clutch at 45 K. Brake overhaul with new Master at approx 49 k.
New Hi-Tech stainless exhaust system fitted a few years ago.
Ferrari correct. Sounds fantastic without being too loud. Has that typical Ferrari V 8 scream when let loose!
All factory pouch. books and tools are all present. as delivered. Even the original Ferrari emergency light and break-down triangle.
Optima Spiral core battery.
New tyres just fitted on correct 16" wheels with the very rare and valuable Ferrari space-saver spare.
This Ferrari was originally delivered with TRX wheels. The original set of 5. in perfect condition. with good Michelin TRX tyres come with the car if required.
The only other difference from new is the rear roof spoiler is colour coded to body colour.
I preferred this look to the black. Can easily be repainted black.
Ferrari is on NSW Historic Registration. which is not transferable.
Would pass any test for full rego without any probs.
Comes with a custom made car cover.
Would not take much to get this Ferrari back to concours level.
Selling part of my collection. due to a new project. plus have too many cars and don't drive it enough !
Listed elsewhere. so may be removed at any time if sold.
