This is an orginal uncut 1949 Mercury Sport Sedan that has benefited from a total frame off restoration. This process to the owner over 6 years. and no expense was spared and no corner was cut. This car looks. drives. and smells like new! The paint is in great shape and only shows 3 minor imperfections. that are clearly pictured. The interior has been completly reupholstered and looks amazing. Under the hood you will find a completley overhauled Mercury Flathead V 8 attached to a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. While the engine was out it was taken apart. cooked. fluxed and honed. The orginal pistons were put back in and a few valves were replace. In addition the transmission was taken apart and completley overhauled as well.
This vehicle has 52. 00 original miles on it. Due to the 5 digit odometer and age of the vehicle the PA title will show exempt however.
