1987 Pontiac Trans Am

1987 PONTIAC TRANS AM GTA

Up for auction is this very clean original GTA that is of collector quality. The car only has 44. 00 miles and it is easy to see they have been pampered miles. The car was in a climate controlled environment which has preserved the paint. plastic and rubber parts well. Being this is Arizona. there are no rust issues. Driving the car proves a very tight non abused car which is getting very difficult to find these days. Think about it. when was the last time you saw a clean. original unmolested GTA? Remember when the second gens became rare and we all said dam I should of bought that bandit or early Trans Am when I could have? Well that time is here for the third gens which I believe will rise at the same rate especially that Pontiac is no longer around.
This car is 5. 7L that starts and runs perfect. No puff of smoke on start up which shows the valve seals are still in great shape.
Trans is the auto 700R4 which shifts perfectly. firm upshifts on 1/2 shift and 2/3 shift. If you know these cars and know what these trans were like when they worked perfect. this car has it.
Car is fully serviced and ready for driving to shows. Has new tires. struts and shocks. Everything else is in perfect working order. A/C is still original R12 and works fine.
All the little problems these cars tend to have are not issues here. Headlights function proper. dash isn't cracked. headliner isn't sagging. window motors work well. no puff of oil smoke. no leaks. tilt is tight. It is a great example of a GTA that you would be proud to own and take out for a Sunday drive to your local car show.
Don't miss out. remember this car turned 30 this year and it is officially a classic car. It is a sound investment that is cheap to register. insure and own. It will go up in value and the market is soft right now on these cars so it is your best opportunity to grab one. I should hold it and wait the market out but I have too many cars in my collection and I am scaling down.
