Jeep CJ8 Scrambler 1981 for sale

Excellent Condition. reliable runner.
Complete rebuild/restoration began in 2009 7200 miles since rebuild and only 2500 miles on new engine (installed 2011). NEW: Heavy Duty Chassis. Chevy 305 Crate Engine(Not Rebuilt- new). Edelbrock carb. Corvette "Ramshead" Headers. Dual exhaust with Flowmasters.
TH 350 Auto transmission (3 speed). B&M Hammer shifter.
"Painless Electrical" wiring harness and most switches/gauges new. heavy duty Alternator. "Jeep Air" Air Conditioning added.
Avalanche Engineering Body Armor installed. new 15 gal gas tank/sender. and windshield. new LED tail lights (2013) Dana 44's front and Rear. 3. 73 gears(open). Dana 300 transfer case-twin stick.
Mickey Thompson Classic Wheels- BFG 35" tires w/ 90% tread. Metal locking center console. removable face Kenwood CD/Stereo. new Trailmax II seats (slide/recline).
Entire tub is Linex'd inside and out.
Soft Top has never seen a Winter(4 yrs old).
Full hardtop by ACME. in good/solid condition.
Soft top is on it now.
90% of nuts/bolts are stainless steel. The list goes on. A Lot of time and money has gone into this project and we've enjoyed it. but it's time to move on.
Actually drives nicer than my 2006 Unlimited Rubicon. Full disclosure: Hard top could use new latches and coat of paint. new rear hatch pistons included in sale. Paint chipped and small bubble at passenger door- I chipped it adjusting the door.
Drivers Seat(4 yrs old) is slightly worn at left bolster due to abuse it taking getting in/out of Jeep neoprene seat covers installed
Unistalled: 20 gal fuel tank w/ skid plate & tire carrier needs brackets and paint. Spares included as well.
Scrambler is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end sale prior to auction end. if sold locally.
