Exceptional Car from a Private Colection - Currently Undergoing a thorough Recommissioning and Detailing
1973 M - Triumph TR 6
Finished in Old English White with Black Vinyl Upholstery. Black Carpet and a Black Vinyl Roof
This vehicle was fully restored some years ago to a very high standard and has. we believe. been in a Private Collection sitting unused since.
The car was lightly recomissioned prior to us purchasing the car and presented really well with a strong sounding engine and excellent oil pressure.
After a thorough inspection I have to say the car is a really. really nice example - certainally amongst the best we have seen - it is quite detail perfect already - but with a little of our care and attention and a bit of investment in some new parts. this could be one of our best.
Heres what we intend to do - Full Service : New Engine Oil & Filter. Gearbox Oil Change. Rear Diff Oil Change ( New Seals fitted as a precautionary measure ) New Plugs. Cap. Rotor Arm. New Plug Leads. New Injectors. New Fuel Metering Unit. New petrol Tank. New Bosch Pump. New Front & Rear Bumpers to replace the 8 out of 10 curent ones. New Halogen Headlights. New Seat Foams. New Sound-proofing Kit. New Wool Carpet Set. New rear Springs and drop links ( car leaning 5 mm ) New Front Discs. Pads. Calipers. New Brake Hoses Front & Rear. Original Steel Wheels Shotblasted and powder coated and fitted with New Premium Brand Tyres. New Stainless Exhaust Silencer and a New Polished Alloy Rocker Cover to finish her off.
Tax Exempt from New Year so thats a bonus . if your after a really nice TR 6 . ozzing original detail and fed up travelling the country to see tatty examples presented by deluded vendors this one could indeed be spot on for you.
It will be a few weeks before its finished and MOT'd but your welcome to come and see it on the ramp and talk through your requirements as weve currently got another 4 TR 6's which are all work in progress from restoration projects to a 1 owner from new car - so something for all budgets
I will continue to post pictures as the recomissioning continues but I sincerely doubt that this one will make it on to all four wheels before a deposit is placed - so don't delay !!.
