I bought this car over four years ago to restore and completed the project very recently. it passed the mot first time and the test runs I've done have been quite enjoyable. i'm to do a 3rd moggie so 'EMMA' must go.
it's original engine had new standard crankshaft bearings and piston rings fitted before I bought it and my guess is another speedo head fitted which reads 85k. if that's true then it's a credit to the previous owners.
the new parts I fitted are too numerous to list but the thing I didn't fit was an unleaded head. the valves. seats and guides didn't warrant that in my opinion.
